Nyko Frontman Wireless Guitar Controllers for PS2
This product is compatible with Guitar Hero 1 and 2.
Rock out in fashion with the Nyko PS2 Frontman Wireless Guitar Controller. The FrontMan is fully compatible with Guitar Hero™ and Guitar Hero II ™. The Frontman is based on the Gibson Explorer guitar and body-wise, it most closely resembles the SG controller in terms of weight and the type of plastic used, almost seems as if it were a modification of the original SG.
What makes this controller so special is that it is built to support rechargeable AA batteries in that it includes a USB cable that allows you to plug the guitar into your PS2 and charge it while you’re playing, provided you’re powering it with rechargeable batteries. Battery removal becomes very sparse with this feature and you can continue to play even if the batteries run out (this is indicated by a light below the link button). The only real time you’ll ever have to take the batteries out is when they run out of charge (which typically takes several hundred charges to get to half capacity).
Featuring 2.4 GHz wireless technology for cordless play, players can lay down serious tracks without the fuss of restrictive cables. The high-end wireless chipset provides a range of up to 25 feet and offers spot-on accuracy and responsiveness, even when tackling the most difficult songs and pulling off intense hammer-ons.
