Datel's PSP Battery Service Tool has the power to turn any official Sony PSP or PSP Slim battery into a TOOL Mode battery and back again, quickly and safely. Just slot your charged battery into the Battery Service Tool device – it’s powered directly from the PSP/PSP Slim battery itself, so you don’t even need an external power supply. Your battery is then converted into a TOOL Mode battery, which boots your PSP or PSP Slim in Service Mode. Remove the battery from the Battery Service Tool and it’s returned to its original state as a standard battery.
When you switch on your PSP or PSP slim with a TOOL battery inserted, the console boots in Service Mode, a special functionality previously only available to programmers and developers. When in Service Mode, you can boot software that’s stored on your Magic Memory Stick (not included).
Datel's Battery Service Tool works with any official Sony 1200mAh, 1800mAh or 2200mAh battery for PSP or PSP Slim (not included). It requires no programming or modification, and will not void your warranty.
